So what has Teresa been up to these past few months?  She has been creating more specatacular ceramic pieces --pieces you all would die for!! As the title suggests, the pieces included in this show are based on stories and fables; there is a series based on the Fable of the Four Friends from an ancient Persian manuscript and the Musicians of Bremen folk tale. Other pieces show her continued exploration of articulated movement in her ceramic work and are perhaps a little less literal in their interpretation  but are still guaranteed to delight with their whimsy and charm.
 
Teresa Bergen is very much an artist of her time. The ability that she has to create three-dimentional ceramic pieces that are not only very well crafted but that also epitomize her amazing imaginative spirit is really quite remarkable. Her work is characterized by the way that she decorates all of the surfaces of a piece.  One might think one has captured the message of a piece until one turns it over and there is another interesting twitter, so if you want to be enraptured you know where to come!!!
