The Art of Adornment

Saturday, August 28^th – September 23rd

Celebrated maritime jewellers Nicole Anderson, Catherine Beck, Matt Bowness, Kristyn Cooper, Candice Prior, Dorothée Rosen and Michelle Yorke will unveil some special pieces created specifically for this exhibit at Mahone Bay’s The Moorings Gallery, on Saturday, August 28th. All the gallery’s jewellers will participate in the exhibit and will have a good supply of their work available.

 In conjunction with this exhibit there will be three artist demonstrations where the jewellers will demonstrate the process of creating artistic gems:

·         Candice Prior , Saturday, August 28^th 2:00 – 4:00 pm

·         Dorothée Rosen, Sunday, August 29^th 1:00 – 3:00 pm.

·         Michelle Yorke, Sunday, August 29^th  3:00 – 5:00 pm

 
Why go to some other corner of the earth to find treasures? These have been created right here in the Atlantic provinces by Canada’s finest.
