Angela Melanson  

Angela studied costume at Dalhousie University in Halifax, has a diploma of Fashion Arts from Seneca College in Toronto, Ontario as well as a two year textile study at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design.  During the past 11 years she has worked in various costume departments in theatres such as the Atlantic Theatre Festival, Neptune Theatre, Willpower Theatre, Acadia Theatre Company, Live Entertainment Inc, as well as a short stint with the television series Lexx in Halifax, NS. 

Angela has always been passionate about textiles and surface design and is currently creating colourful felted handbags from recycled fabrics.  Her love of colour, texture, felt and fibre are truly what keep her inspired and motivated
