Bronwyn Gallagher received a Diploma in Advanced Studies (2009) as well as a Diploma of Fine Craft in Textiles (2008) and a Foundation Visual Arts Certificate (2006). She also was the recipient of several scholarships and grants, which helped her greatly (both financially and in gaining confidence) Most notably the Rick Burns Memorial Scholarship (2006, 08), the Dr. Ivan Crowell Award for Excellence in Weaving (2008), the 2009 BMO 1st Art choice award and the 2010 Nel Oudemans award.
Arts NB has recently given Bronwyn a creation grant to explore her great passion for a post loom process called differential shrinkage. In addition to her art practice she always enjoys the production side of her career producing luxurious sleep mask from hand-woven local fibre.
